I knew the first day I moved in what a mistake I had made. When I toured the complex they showed me the upgraded apartment which is absolutely nothing close to what I got. I had moved from the Dominion where I was renting a home so I knew it was going to be somewhat of a change...but never this bad. Within the first week, we had to control the behaviors of multiple neighbors and the a/c on the top floor went out. When I told management, they told me "Heat rises so the top floor will always be hotter." Like I'm some sort of idiot. I know the difference b/t normal heat rising and a broken a/c. It took them 4 times of bandaiding the a/c before they ordered the correct part...this only after many many threats. My electric bill was $378! I found out from other tenants they were having the same problems w/their air, but wasn't resolved in over a month! I have had to call the police 3 times to control neighbors. It is gated, which is nice, but not if you are keeping the slackers locked in with you. The footprint for the property is small but they managed to put many families in the space. There is plenty of parking (2 per home) and if you drive a really small car you can parallel park directly under your porch just inside the fire lane! There is absolutely no insulation for noise. My neighbors dog barks the entire time she is gone. When I first moved in, I asked if the nasty carpets had been cleaned. Each step was lined in black. I paid $250 to have them done on my own dime b/c my socks kept turning black...not what you would expect from a luxury townhome! The pool is nice but expect to have to babysit half of the kids b/c the parents will just drop them off. The grounds look nice, but the landscaping crew lacks some common sense. I was swimming and they came in to leaf blow...into the pool. They have done the same when driving in w/freshly washed car. There is much more to be said but not enough room! Please don't rent here. I'm only here until my job relocates...soon!

Right on. Let me tell you this. My neighbor claimed I cracked her bathroom mirror when I pounded a nail in my wall. I have only three words to describe the Quarry Town Homes: Cracker Box Dwellings. 36% and falling

This seems unreal, but so it is true. My experience there was very similar.
