that the positive reviews are all written in caps with multiple spelling errors. They are probably written by the same person. I have lived in this complex for 2 years, from February of 2003-2005. When I moved in, I was told that the complex would be painted in April. Two years later, the complex still has not been painted. The railings are chipping, which is not only ugly but dangerous to the 4 small children that live in my building. In addition to this, the complex is a squared U shape. Because the majority of the buildings are loaded in the back, the parking is often an issue, especially during weekends. Exiting the property during heavy traffic times is very difficult because it is located on a curve with low visibility. The pool is well kept for the most part, but the hot tub has never been more than lukewarm and the jets don't work. I am receiving a bond for my apartment, so I couldn't complain about the price when I moved in. However, in two years of residency, my rent has increased $100. I wouldn't complain if it weren't for the market price dropping from $710 to $649. How does the price drop, but my rent increase' This is possibly a move to reduce/end the bond program; that would be fine if the owners would sink some money back into the property. The amenities aren't really that special, there is no landscaping, and the buildings look horrible. Most importantly, there is mold throughout the building. I had originally blamed my constant headaches on the oak trees in the area, but the mold has spread so much that it was growing on the vents. The solution was to replace the vent after spraying kilz into the duct. Mold is a serious health hazard; such a treatment was insulting to my intelligence as well as ridiculously inefficient. I am a quiet resident and don't ask for much. So I've not had many problems with the management. The maintenance man, Robert, has been excellent. I blame bad ownership rather than bad management for the upkeep of the property.
