I have lived here for one and half years. I was pretty satisfied with the previous management until Lynd Company took it over. You can't image how many TERRIBLE things they have done.
First, they sent everybody a paper saying that they will change everybody??s door lock because we didn??t pay the full amount of rent. I went to the office right after I received the notice, almost all the neighborhoods were there, because nobody forgot to pay the rent. It took us a lot time there, and finally the management found out that they were mistake on the ??Market Price?? and ??the price on our contract?? next day. What I was not happy with is: after they sent us that rude notice base on their stupid, they pretended nothing happened, and they even didn??t apologize to us!
Second, they fixed the leaks in their property, and they put their expense on our bill! Somebody in this complex already called for protest, but it seems not work.
Third, they have knocked down the security guard house without any notice to the resident. There is no gate or any security here now. After a lot complains form the resident, now they decided to build a gate back. I was wondering why this management ONLY care about saving their EXPENSE but not our needs. I am pretty sure they won??t care us until we say we are moving out, and then they will care about their INCOME but still not you.
By the way, now they have change the old name "Woodland River Oaks" and "River Oaks Condominiums" to "The Terrace at River Oaks", don't be fooled by the new name. If they don't improve their attitude, no matter how many name they change, they are still the worse management that I have met.
