Rock Canyon is supposed to be a "gated community." It's not. No matter what they tell you the gates are always open. We had a brand new motorcycle stolen while the gate was broken. There are large puddles of standing water EVERYWHERE so you must like mosquitos. Did I mention they just moved the adult parole building like a half mile away. Nice. The appliances were from the 60's and broke within two weeks of my moving in. I called for maitnence and they said no problem. They fixed my stove the next day and tracked TAR through my living room and bedroom. Why were they in my bedroom' I don't know. Anyway, just say no.

Hello...allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mona. I am the new Manager for Rock Canyon. I've been back for a while and I can tell you that I have already "cleaned" up this place. I was the assistant manager here for 4 years before transfering to another one of our properties as a Manager. I've always wanted to return because I love this place!! When the opportunity came up, I could NOT pass it up!! I am so excited to be back and I'm ready to get this back to the way they used to be. I have read some of the comments below and would like to say that the gates do stay open during office hours due to the fact that the leasing office is located inside the gates. We had to do this after the fire destroyed our office. The NEW leasing office is scheduled to open in about 1 month. Once opened, the gates will NOT be open like they are now. I am VERY quick to get them fixed if they should happen to break. As far as the "standing water", I have already had several areas of the property "re done" for landscaping. I will continue to do this until every building looks BEAUTIFUL!! I am excited to start the Resident Activites. THANK YOU to all of you who showed up at the "Meet the Manager" BBQ. Also, we had a good turnout during this past week's Resident Appriciation Week. There are ALOT more things to come. I am planning a HUGE and I mean HUGE grand opening for the leasing office. Music, News, Radio Stations...you name it, I'll get it!! If you have any questions for me, just call and ask. I encourage anyone who reads these to come and check us out. I look forward to meeting you and I know that you will make Rock Canyon your new home!!!

We had to get a new fridge because it was so old it wasn't cooling off anymore. When they brought it in they scaped the kitchen floor because they decided to drag it. I saw them do it with my own eyes. I know we're going to be billed for it when we leave! :(
