I have lived here for 2 years now and don't plan to move any time soon. Every apartment place has it's problems and yet I am very happy here. I have heard of there being problems with people getting broke into, but I have also talked with some of these people and they did not utilize the security measures offered for our safety. Don't use it and then you lose it! Use your brain and protect yourself and this is a great place to live!

Your stupid if you think security is a tool that you can utilize. First and formore their lazy asses get rent for free, and if not then largely discounted. Many of apartment properties security is on call so they keep their sorry asses inside until they recieved a call requesting their presence. Maybe your stupid ass should have been broken into, then we could have seen you use the security measures. At the Rolling Ridge property, it is poorly lit at night no wonder crooks are able to ambush people un-knowingly, parking for guests is non-existent, swimming pools are small, and their is not a fitness area whatsoever as described in the renters guide. Mail is always delivered late in the day, and to top it all off the management staff are too damn cheap to provide "Parcel lockers" offered through USPS because they are too expensive. Well then in all that rent you charge......"give a little back to the community." The management teams response to their residents needs, in so many words is " --------." Maintenance's response is like molassaes when their presence is requested to fix something as well. One other thing......why in the hell doesn't the "depmartment of transportation", or the "rolling ridge management staff" do something about these speeding lunatics who race up and down Glen Ridge....hell install some speed bumps or something. Hell this is a residential street not a damn short cut so all these dumbass people can avoid traffic. The only great thing about this community or lack there of is the excellent pricing packages with Grande Communications you can recieve as a resident, also most units on this property have washer and dryer connections. Not to mention that the balcony and storage spaces are very spacious. Also it is within walkin distance of shopping and entertainment. Also I currently am a resident, and I was broken into....by management, because whom ever entered my home had a key. When I confronted management with this, the first wuestion they asked was, "does anyone else have a key" just so that they could almost ruled out. I told them, "hell no, and if I had it my way they would not either." The management staff never offered any apology whatsoever, nor did they formally nor informally inform the residence of any break-ins. This was after being told by residence including myself that this was happening. What they were doing was protecting whomever they had suspicion of in their office......the dirty rats. I will catch the next one though, and the next time...if there is one will not be pretty for him/her. I have cameras hidden inside my unit, and three on the outside....so I can catch them on tape. Hell, SAPD acted as if what I was telling them was untrue when they arrived to make the report. Ain't that a -----!!!!
