I've been living here for less than a year. Things started out half-decent and haven't gone very well under the new management. I will say that the rent is affordable but you definitely get (or not) what you pay for! The office staff is not organized at all. As a matter of fact, they couldn't even find my file to read what my lease states or when it ends. The dumpsters are constantly overflowing with more than just trash.

The positives: The proximity to shopping & public transit; reasonable rent rates (under the old management); gas prices are a tad bit lower on this side of town.

There is quite a bit of noise being so close to Loop 410. The maintenance crew is good about getting to your apartment in a timely manner, but you're not sure who they are exactly as they do not appear in uniform.

If you can afford to pay a little more to live in a nicer place, do it. If you're on a budget and/or trying to save money, this place will do...temporarily.
