Not as Bad as I have Seen

I am a current resident here at Rolling Ridge, and I was a little surprised to see all the negative feedback for this area. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the new management team. My lease was set to expire in January, and the Manager sent me a note letting me know that I could renew the lease at a discounted rate. I don't see that happening very often. Yes, there has been a good deal of change on the property since I moved in (2004)but I see is as improvement for us as a whole, even if I am too old to be able to use the volleyball court. The leasing girls have changed AGAIN, but they do seem to want to help. The new office looks good, although I do wonder if my rent increase is what is paying for it. Yes, there are now kids playing in front of my apartment. Yes, the weekend barbeques on the new picnic area have gotten a bit loud. But that is what families do, and we should allow them to enjoy themselves and allow the new management team to continue doing a great job.

You sound like you work for them. I have been here for several years and have seen the tennis courts torn down, pools and hot tubs filled in(obviously to save costs on maintenance) This again is obvious due to parking lot renewal only on the office entrance side only to make office area attractive to new prospective renters. This has been over a year and the rest of the parking lots are in the same state of disrepair. To date there is not one working hot tub. The only one not filled in has been out of commission for over 2 years. Even the lawns and foliage appear to be in disrepair. Under old managegement lawns were watered daily. Now it appears to be once a week at best judging from the dry areas. This did use to be a great place to live until the new management/owner took over. Hopefully this will improve and is just a settling in process but I am not holding my breath.
