From: 2045 Date posted: 4/30/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006 1 response   i would not recommend living here unless you are single older person (aged 50 plus). on top of an expensive price tag, the management is rude (like EVERYONE else has mentioned). they are huge sticklers on the rules (even little ones) and we actually recieved a lease violation for having christmas lights on our balcony. the management also seems to have a serious problem with college students (why do you rent to them if you don't want to deal with them'''). they treat many of the students as if they were three year olds and not real adults actually renting an apartment and paying bills. parking is also a problem because there aren't nearly enough spots, especially in the front building. despite this fact they will give you lease violations for parking in any places they deem unworthy. my roommate who pays 35 EXTRA dollars a month for a parking space was called by the management because the woman next to her said she was parking too close to the line (but she was still in her OWN spot). ARE YOU KIDDING ME' and it is true...the various staff (such as the bug man) ARE spies and will tell if you have anything remotely 'wrong' in your apartment. they have a christmas decorating contest every year and are very biased in their judging and only give the prizes to long time residents. our disposal in our sink doesn't work well (which often results in an awful odor) and despite requests it has not been fixed/replaced in the year that we lived there.
