Just awful

After 2 years in this place, I am ecstatic about just getting the hell out of here. Most of the negative things that have been previously said ARE true.
The management is extremely condescending and on overall pain to deal with. I was treated pretty rudely every time I went to the office, even if it was just to pick a package.
In the 25 months that I've lived here, the "security" gates have worked MAYBE 4 or 5 months (total; not consecutively.) When they did work, the remotes didn't.
The parking is atrocious. If you get home after 8 pm, get used to the idea of parking on the other side of the complex (or outside the gate) and walking. Not that I'm too lazy to walk, but to have to do this daily is just annoying, especially when you remember how much you're paying to live here.
Loud neighbors - I've never had a problem with too many small kids, but there is always loud music and no shortage of drunk idiots late at night. It's like clockwork between 2:30 - 3:30am.....loud bass coming from cars as they drive through the complex (how inconsiderate is that'), people yelling / fighting the parking lot & stairways, and afterparties on balconies. I know I probably sound like a grumpy old man, but I'm actually only 27.....it's just THAT bad here.
I've never had a problem getting maintenence to fix something.....IF I talk to the guy directly. If I call the office, it takes forever.
As far as the overall look of the place, it's always been pleasant. The appearance of the property is probably the only thing that management actually DOES care about.
Overall, stay away from Saddle Ridge. It's a terrible complex that you'll regret moving into. I should never have re-signed for a second year. Thank God it ends this coming weekend.
