Not bad - under special circumstances...

I lived there in 2003-2005. The place seems really nice. It is mostly clean, but there is poor landscaping - you can see flowers only near the entrance and near office door, but somewhere is the corners of the property you would see just dry grass and dead trees. The pool is big and clean (not always, but mostly), though is it often closed during weekends.
The parking sites are so narrow that my friends who came to visit me were afraid of parking in such narrow sites. Sometimes the sites were fully occupied (especially near bildings with one-bedroom appartments), so it was difficult to find a place for parking.
The walls of appartments are not sound-proof at all - I could hear the conversations of my neighbors pretty well. Also, it isn't so safe. Once, when my neighbors downstairs went out for vacations, someone broke their window and stole all the values from the apartment.
The maintenance is really good - they repair everything quickly, no complains here! But there is a very-very special thing - pest control!!! They never say anything like: "Tomorrow your appartment will be treated". You just come home after work and realise that everything is covered with the white anti-pest powder - surprise!!! No matter whether you need such treatment or not - if office staff decided to do this, you would have it! And you can just guess who came to your appartment in your absence and why office didn't tell you anything...
Another amasing habit of the office is sending to the residents very nice letters: you MUST do this... you MUST NOT do that... For example, once they sent a letter telling that residents MUST NOT burn candles "anywhere on the property". A few days after that I came to the office and saw burnt aromatic candles there. And, by the way, I've never seen any fire extinguisher there.
Some residents used to leave their garbage near to the door instead of putting them into the dumster. Those bags were smelling, but office did nothing to it.
Well, I had a lot of negative experience there, but I should say, this place isn't something terrible. I've never heard about accidents with drunk or drug-abused people in there. And, of couse, its location close to the Medical Center is very convenient for students.

About the pest control. The management is not required to let you know exactly when pest control will be there. It is their responsibility to make sure that your apartment is being treated so that you do not have to deal with any unwanted pests. Be happy they come. I have lived in places that you have to beg them to call pest control.

You really think so? Well, be happy when anyone is allowed by office to enter your place. I found a nice place with respectful stuff. My place is safe. Everyone gets what he is worth of.
