I live here and I've been quite satisfied for the most part. I haven't had any maintenance issues so the place is pretty well-kept. I hardly find bugs in my apartment. I see an ant or some other small bug every now and then, which is a big plus from my old apartment complex which always had a lot of ants on my kitchen countertop and cabinets. I've never seen a roach in my place, thank goodness. I just hate to pay pet rent. Most places don't even charge that. A dog was given to me as a gift after I moved here. If I had the dog before, I would have picked a place that does not charge monthly pet rent. The two bedrooms here I think are decently priced, much cheaper than any other two bedrooms in San Antonio, but the one bedrooms here are a bit overpriced in my opinion. I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that it is conveniently located right across the street from the Medical center. The only other complaints I have are 1) no extra storage space, 2) no washer dryer hookups, 3) no light fixtures in the second bedroom and living room, 4) no cable outlets in the bedrooms, and 5) walls are too thin. But these are the fault of the people who originally built the place, so has nothing to do with the office staff. I was offered a free washer and dryer from my sister but I have nowhere to put them so she had to give them to someone else. I could've had a free washer and dryer. I don't like that I have to have floor lamps because my dog is always chewing on the cords and I keep having to replace them. They said the ceilings were not wired for light fixtures so you cannot even install ceiling lights yourself. Also I can always hear a baby crying or people talking loudly in the units next to or underneath me, and my downstairs neighbor even complained to me I guess because my dog runs around and the neighbor could hear the thumping from above him. So I try to walk slowly all the time and stop my dog from running around so I don't disrupt the people downstairs. But overall, these are not problems that make it miserable to live here or anything. I would definitely recommend this place to someone looking for a low-priced two bedroom or who wants to be close to the Med ctr. Unfortunately I will probably move after my lease is up because the place is becoming too expensive for me.
