I'm at the end of a one-year lease. I'm paying $720 for a 2/2, which wouldn't be so bad if the cabinetry wasn't so disgusting. They seriously painted the cabinets under the sinks all black to cover the water damage (and I assume mold). I had lived in SA for a year when we moved into this builing. Within the first week I got really sick and went to the ER. The doctor told me I had allergies! I have never had allergies in my life and I believe that this apartment is the cause. The carpet was brand-new when I moved in, but the cabinets and counters need to be replaced from years of water damage. You know had they invested in decent fixtures, cabinets etc. in the first place the apartment would have held up better throughout the years.
The community is OK. We complained about our upstairs neighbors so much that the office threatened to evict them (they were students that were on lease with their parents as co-buyers). Luckily they moved out and we've got much better neighbors.
The apartment layout is OK, but beware of 1st floor patios - you can't let your pets out because the fence doesn't wrap around and they washer/dryer area is not well thought out.
