They management office is unprofessional and doesn't take care of anything, in the 9 months I've been there they've lost my rent check twice (they even had the nerve to try to charge me 100$ to "find" my check) and I've had to prove it to them that they lost it. This was at the cusp of being evicted. They are always trying to get a few dollars here and there for something.

The parking is horrible, there isn't enough parking for each apartment. The place is pricey and the walls are paper thin. I'm pretty sure I had tapdancing elephants living above me, and everyone around me deemed it necessary to blast music into the wee hours of the night. I know this is not the managements fault, but just the environment that comes with Signature Ridge.

Don't move here, anywhere would be better.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experience at Signature Ridge has been less than you expected. The office management does strive to provide the best service possible. As far as your check goes, I'm sorry to hear that you were upset by the letter you received; we are human and we do make mistakes sometimes. When you manage an apartment community as large as this one, you can expect to get thousands of checks at rent time each month. Most times we do get the check to the right apartment, but occassionally, we will put it in the wrong place, whether is be we can't read the apartment number, there is no apartment number or a combination of no apartment number and we can't read the name on a money order. It does happen. Likewise, we've experienced times when we had apartments with 2 or more roommates where one roommate pays and the other does not. Rent time can be a stressful time for both the residents and the apartment management. The letter you refer to as stating that there were $100's of dollars in charges is a standard letter sent out each month to all residents who we show as having not paid rent to and is only meant to start a line of communication between the office and the resident. The charges are only applied to accounts in which the resident truely have not paid rent. These charges are late rent charges and are on the front page of every lease contract signed by the residents themselves when they move-in. We are not trying to nickel and dime people, but we do try to get people to pay rent when it is due. If anyone gets one of these letters and it turns out that they have paid rent, these fees are not applied. We also do not like to evict people and will do everything in our power not to, if it can be helped. You also bring up some other issues about parking, noise and neighbors. Yes, parking can be tight sometimes, just like pretty much all apartment communities in and around San Antonio. Unfortunately, due to land and expenses we are not able to expand the property any to add additional spaces. We are however, looking into programs of resident parking versus visitor parking areas. We are also open to any suggestions you might have to help this process. As far as noisy neighbors go, the first thing you can do to help this, is to become aquainted with the people living around you. That way if you and/or they are being too loud, you could try to reason with them first. If that is not an option, try calling the answering service after hours and telling them the problem. We do respond to people who are disrupting the comforts of their neighbors and handle each situation accordingly. Again, I'm sorry that you seem to be unhappy living here. If there is anything we can do to make you stay here any better, please let us know.
