I ve seem to have lost count of how many companies have owned this property in the year I've lived here. I am told that there has been four, but I can only remember 3, I also guess I didn t see the initial writing on the wall. This property has been owned by MBS, who was rumored to have ran several properties into the ground around the San Antonio area. Then there was Pinnacle, who although has an extremely nice and energetic staff had other issues picking up the broken pieces left behind by MBS. I must admit from what I saw they made a go of it in a Sanford and Son approach. It was extremely common to see old water heaters or toilets littering the property, which too heavy to carry down the stairs were thrown over balconies and left there for days at a time. Extremely embarrassing and a most certainly unappealing sight to come home to at the end of the day, or for your guest to see.

Now there s Riverstone, who in my opinion has no clue regarding how to find a staff to run a property. Maybe they should have kept the original staff and replaced the manager, instead they fired everyone including the grounds keepers and maintenance staff. When Riverstone first took over they had a temp staff in working the property who s job was to impress the boss enough to be put there on a permanent basis. First off there s the incident with the lost rent check, although paid on time the temp staff misplaced my rent check. Instead of calling and finding a reasonable solution they posted an eviction notice on my door, giving me three days to pay rent or be evicted. Of course I called to determine the problem, and their fix was for me to give them the number of the check I had written them. I could have easily complied, but was infuriated by the fact that they had the gall to put a notice on my door without first maybe considering that since they were new this could have been their mistake to begin with. I decided to dig in and stand my ground with them until they found my check, especially since the check book was in my car with was in the shop at the local dealership. I had all I could stand when the assistant manager at the time likened his disruption to my life as the disruption to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan, figuring since I m military I would understand this as a viable means of reasoning. It took every strand of decency I had to keep from flambasting this moronic idiot however I did tell him off in the most tasteful way I knew how. The straw that broke the camels back was the latest and greatest incident, Sept 26 an inspector for the fire sprinklers walked through the apartments with the maintenance staff. The family dog was in the house and ran out through the door left opened by the inspector and staff. Of course no one is taking credit for this incident and as to date our dog is still missing. Needless to say, this has been a horrible experience for my wife and I. There are numerous other things I could say about this place but do not have the space to note them. All I have to say is if you like living in an over priced, dirty and poorly maintained property this is your place.
