I have lived at Signature Ridge for 7 months and although my lease is not up for 6 more months I am looking for a new apartment. I should have known when I came to look at apartments and they kept my Drivers License without even calling me. It wasn't until I needed my ID the next day that I realized they had kept it. When I went to move in they told me I could pick up my key the Friday night before due to the fact that my furniture needed to be delivered; but when I went to get the key they told me I could not have the key early.
When I finally moved in the second week of the month I had to pay the full price instead of a pro-rated one. When I asked for utility information before moving in, they knew nothing(not even who the providers were). It was not until I received a notice that they were going to shut off my water that I realized the water was not included; they never gave me a copy of the lease or rules. My dryer was broken for two weeks and when I called the third time they told me the work order had blown off of the golf cart. The gates are always open, which is good for the people who have to park outside of the complex and hike to their apartments. There is no parking anywhere; people park illegally everywhere(handicap loading zones and in front of fire hydrants) and nothing gets done. The walkways to the apartments really stink due to the fact that people don't clean up after their pets and the mess gets tracked in. The neighbors upstairs have parties all night long and the joke of acourtesy officer does not show up. I have complained and even have police reports, yet nothing gets done. Also, there are speedbumps every five feet which can really wear down the shocks on your cars.
It is really unfortunate because the apartments are nice but there are too many downsides. The bottom line is that they are expensive, crowded and lacking in customer service. Once you move in, the office staff are practically fighting over who will have to deal with whoever comes into the office.
Save your money.

Well I know at least one of those "complaints" is BS. Your water bill is put in your mailbox every month. What do you mean you didn't get it? Don't you check your mail?

Are you seriously complaining about speed bumps? Did they magically appear after you moved in? Isn't it better to have a few of speed bumps than cars flying past you and getting hit?

who the hell are tarakinz18 and this anonymous person responding to people's comments...are they part of the signature ridge staff?! their rude obnoxious comments sound like the garbage that comes out of the staffing at signature ridge. They obviously don't live here...i do, and it is a piece of crap...and the people in the front office are lying, deceitful people. all of them, especially ------, "the supposed property manager" who does nothing.

I moved in five years ago in the second phase of the complex - this was before the annoying speed bumps. MBS property were the fools that did that! Parking is bad - they should have assign parking, but I have visited friends at other apts and it seems parking is a problem everywhere. FYI: if you have a problem with the staff - ask to meet with their investors next time they do a "walk-through" - they do it several times a year.
