This place was a complete nightmare. It took them forever to fix any problem. It took me 7 months to get a new ceiling fan, it took a week to get them to fix a running faucet in the bathtub which was running hot water, they never fixed the A/C it would always leak and they would come and put a bucket under it to keep the carpet from getting wet. The A/C ruined the carpet and the water soaked into the wall underneath it, when the maintenance man came out to fix it the wall was rotted around it and ripped off with the grate. When I moved out the apartment complex made me pay 415.00 for repairs to this wall, that I did not make. If you look at the complex now they couldnt pay people to live there, while I lived there one by one residence were moving out, there were so many available units it was crazy, we were the only ones left in our building. Whatever you do stay clear of Silver Oaks, they are horrible and whenever you try to speak to a Manager they just take your name and tell you they will call you back later, that never happens... oh yeah I forgot one evening when I just got home from work a crackhead came to my car and asked me if I was "holding", God bless the people who are still there.
