I would NOT refer you to Silver Rock

I should have known Silver Rock would not be the complex I was looking to live in when I was told my carpet was brand new and when I moved in there were stains everywhere. Maybe I should have known after the "Security Gates" weren't opening or closing or almost a month, at which point we had several cars broken into. Or when besides our normal monthly rent we got another bill a couple dyas later for $1.23 which informed us that there was a computer problem on last bill and it was $1.23 short so we needed to pay this within 24 hours or be charged a "late fee".I would have thuoght simply waiting until next month to add that huge sum of $1.23 would have worked but when I failed to right a check out for $1.23 for fear my bank would just laugh. I did get nasty letters saying they "NEEDED that $1.23.
The management here at silver rock is the worst part of the whole deal. The GM needs to take some public relations courses. If you do live here HOPE and PRAY for many months that nothing breaks because it could be a long time before it gets fixed. I bought a house close to the end of my lease here ( 11 days short) and when I asked if this apartment could be rented out earlier so I would not have to pay both my house payment and rent for those 11 days I was laughed at by the staff here. At this point is when I was SO happy I never refered anyone to these apartments. There are many many many other choices here in San Antonio and I would recommend looking somewhere else.
