I am afraid to live here my apartment was broken into I want to break my lease ! I talked to the office staff and they are not intrested in helping me. I was told by my neighbors they received a notice that had a list of safety tips. I think it is a little too late for that. I got home and my entire apartment was turned upside down. I am waiting to see what the managers will do for me. I am now hearing cars are often broken into here and there are cameras that dont work thru out the property . Please take my advice move somewhere else .

Hello! Have you ever heard of renter's insurance???? And what about your Netowrk Alarm?? Try using it sometime, try it and see how LOUD it is, I am sure that if it was on that would have defintely would have stopped the thieves from entering your apartment. What exactly do you expect for management to do for you? It is no different if you own a home and your home was broken in to, you would have to have home owners insurance to cover any of your losses.....so it is no different when you live in an apartment! And as far as that "notice" you were saying was "a little too late", well if you read your lease that information is in there so there is no need to blame management for your ignorance on that issue. I have lived at Silver Rock for 3 years now and have not had any issues so far and neither have the many neighbors I have had over the years, not to mention this is the first time I have ever heard of an apartment being broken into...check with the police station for this address and they will tell you the stats for this location. Oh yeah and about cars being broken into, is Silver Rock the only place in this city that cars are broken into???? Grow up please! Cars get broken into just about everyday ALL OVER THIS CITY, it is just a reality so deal with it because it has nothing to do with management. The security gate is not a full proof deterrent against theft so quit being one of those people who thinks that it should be, you are essentially responsible for your own safety and yes the complex does have a role in that but it does not soley lay on their shoulders, we are all adults here after all. Bottom line... be a mature adult here and quit trying to blame everybody else for what has happened here!

aww thats cute how someone that clearly works for the office like babygirl33 is willing to try and stand up for it. Thanks to the comments i've read i'm def. going to think twice about moving to this complex. Oh and news flash there is such thing as a safe complex that doesn't have rampid crime (i've lived in one) and hearing a comment about the crimes at this apartment is enough to make anyone with a brain in their head run the other direction. babygirl you need to grow up and get over your crime ridden apartment complex.
