Awful neighbors, great new management

Unfortunately since I first posted over a year ago it feels like the people in this complex have gone really downhill. We've had issues with our neighbors being drunk and obnoxious and I keep hearing about car break-ins. This complex was one of a few hit with people driving around and shooting out the back windows of SUV's with pellet guns. People are always driving around with their loud stereo systems blaring. Walls are very thin, the times we've had people next to us we could hear everything. Honestly I can't wait to move out.
The one nice thing I can say is that the new management (as of this year) is AWESOME. The building I live in had some major problems with a very shady people and they have done everything they can to try and make us and our neighbors feel better about it.

Is there really bad drug / gang problem around the apts? Would you consider this a safe area?

I don't know about a gang problem, but we do notice shady people hanging out at times. Unfortunately since I first posted my review it feels like the people in this complex have gone really downhill. We've had issues with our neighbors being drunk and obnoxious lately and I keep hearing about car break-ins around this block. Honestly I am getting to the point where I can't wait to move out - there is new management now and hopefully they will improve the atmosphere.
