The management company is only interested in $$$. If you are transferred be aware you have to shell out big bucks to get out of your lease. If you came on a special--you have to pay all the money you saved back. The are constantly placing notes on doors less than 24 hours before you must have apartment ready for their maintenance---this can occur monthly at times for the same stuff over and over. Haven't seen any pest control except if called-proactive stance is not their way of life. Refrigerator runs constantly no matter what temp it is set at and expect food to be frozen in it too. Freezer doesn't stay shut and ice cream isn't frozen for example. Doors are not standard width; rooms are odd shapes and have fun getting things in and out of any room but the living room. Beware that parking is horrible and people constantly parked in fire zone and nothing done--city says private property and apartment says city makes them do the zones. Tight squeeze if anyone is coming out of an area and you are turning as it won't be easy. Don't expect money back on lease as they will find ways and reasons to keep the deposit amount. They already have administrative fees when you move it too. no one picks up after their pets but they claim to enforce this but believe when you see them do anything. get a 2nd floor if you don't want to be awakened at the drop of a hat.
