I really enjoy living in this area for the price. I've been looking around at other places, and haven't found a better deal yet. It's just too conventiant for my job and my kids school. I've been here for about 2 years and haven't really had too many problems. My work orders get done almost immediately, much better then the apts I used to live in! I would wait up to 2 wks for a LEAK to get fixed! I can't complain about the two days it takes maintenance. I'm starting to get ants in my apt, and all I do is by ant bate, and they're almost gone.
Really the only concern I have is about my neighbors dog, that damn thing never shuts up, they let the dog out to do its business and they NEVER pick up after them. So if you see a lady with a german shepard and some other big dogs, report her to the office. I don't even know that a German Shepard is allowed, they are an aggressive breed. Anyway, if you can afford living else where in the Stone Oak area, you can afford living here.
On a small note: when going to the office, make sure to speak with the two younger girls, b/c that "manager" (if you can give here that title) is something else!

Complaining about a dog bark is fine but dont steriotype dogs as aggressive, there is no such thing as an aggressive breed, it just some ---- they made up to keep pits and other great dogs out of apartments. I have owned plenty of pits and they are only as their owners raise them. You wouldnt like it if I steriotyped your ass as a stuck up white prick.... hell you may not even be white but it doesnt sound good does it? Or what if they regulated renting to people based on your drivers record or your family history or your height, does that at all define you? Not at all. Good review overall.

Just realized I posted to the wrong apts. Stone Manor was good, minus the dog part. But DON'T move to the Abbey either! I ended up buying a house.
