This place needs some serious improvements

My gripes:
As the rent goes up so should the quality of living. This apartment complex is not Section 8 or Subsidized Housing so the appliances, cabinetry, and fixtures need to be up to par. So they have begun painting the outside of the buildings. That's nice but the units need over hauls. Between the crappy tile jobs, old carpet, leaking plumbing, cabinets that look like they were made 30 years ago and manhandled door frames, I don't know what needs to be replaced or fixed first.
The good stuff:
As far as the complex feeling safe is my number one priority and They pass with flying colors. This complex is the least ghetto place I have ever lived alone and felt safe to come home or leave home at any hour without druggies nor thugs approaching me. The rent is better than most places for the square footage on my current lease. The staff is helpful to an extent. They can't do everything. Overall I would recommend this place to new renters. If interested please message me. I need the referral fee.

I agree with you when you say this place needs ALOT of improvements. I used to live there with my fiance' and for a while it was ok, but then there was a hail storm in the Summer of 2006 and our window screen broke. Now I say this because we moved out in November 2007 and it still wasn't fixed. Actually we went back to visit some of our neighbors and we noticed it still wasn't fixed as of last month. Maintenance is a joke and the manager ---- is an even bigger joke. Now as far as your assumption that this place is not ghetto. I remember one night I was going to do laundry and I noticed several cops, including a k-9 unit for an undercover drug bust. They may not walk around dealing, but they are there. Overall this place sucks.

I agree. I currently live there and I am counting the days until i move out. The manager doesn't do her job she finds ways to make it your fault. Things don't get fixed and lately I have found beer bottles thrown all over and they stay there for weeks. I don't think they even do background checks there. Whoever reads this and is getting ready to sign the lease, READ IT CAREFULLY.
