I lived and was not miserable, but I would not pay more than what I did to live there.
Good things' hmmm... The heater only broke once and the repair guys fixed it the next day. The one bedroom has a lot of space for one person or a couple. I never had trouble finding parking. The manager that was there when I left was very friendly. I got my deposit back, 2 months later...

Bad things...
Grounds were disgusting, after they let the shrubs die you could see all the trash people threw under them.
Neighbors were LOUD! I had to get a noisemaker to sleep at night.
There was a funky smell when I moved in, I was told it was b/c of the new vinyl, which went away but was replaced with the smell of cigarettes and pot from the neighbor's unit.
Night-time safety' I carried my keys between my fingers because lighting was sporadic.
The stove electrocuted me. The maintenance guy came while I was at work to rewire, but he left a mess and even though I cleaned after him, a small piece of metal ended up in my muffin batter and got in my tongue.

Bottom line - only live here if you can deal with noise, outside filth, unsafe lighting, old buildings and appliances and tripping over the occasional dead-head.
