we moved into a 3 bed 2 bath in 2005. we were the first renters of the apartment and it was peaceful up until the people from Katrina moved in. After that, me and my roommates were getting harassed for money outside, and one time they offered to sleep with me for a 40oz. After they moved in, the police make nightly rounds through the complex looking for suspects i suppose. I sleep with a bat and rosary every night. I leave my apt every morn at 4am and i pray i'm not killed on the way to my car. there is only one entrance with is usually cluttered with cars that cant get in to the gate because they are either too drunk to remember the code or they are on the way to a party in the complex. About the parties...good luck finding parking especially in buildings 9 and 10. The actual apartments are nice and like i said, and once apon-a-time the business center and clothing center were very nice and clean with computers, washers and dryers in it. But after the katrin-ians moved in the computers were stolen, and the washers and dryers were completely destroyed and that was a year ago (they haven't fixed them since). The pool is nice whenever it doesn't have idiots from other apartment complexes in it. I hate everyone that lives here and i hope they all die. The only cool person to talk to is Gary, the maintenance dude.

this person should write fiction books. i have lived here since april and i am a single white female who weighs less that 105 lbs. i too leave for work in the wee hours of the morning and couldnt and wouldnt' feel safer. i have never been proposed for anything but help bringing stuff up. the gate was broken for awhile but is now fixed. parking is not an issue for me and never has been. there is a lot of noice on friday and saturday nights when the bars close but it only lasts 15-20 minutes until the people get settled. the reviewer above is a crazy person who must not know about the second exit gate at the end of the appt complex.
