After reading all this posts I had to make a comment! I live here almost a year and I love my two bedroom apartment. Before I moved in I knew that there were many Katrina victims living here and they were sent by government . I was also told that they will be moving out, so they did. There are still some of them here but all the bad ones are gone. As for the parking, there is plenty, problem here is that everyone wants to park in front of the building they live in, and some of them if they could, they would park their own car on the patio, like their car is better then someone's else's. I personally was never harassed by anyone, and I believe if you're looking for some trouble you'll find it anywhere you live. Some people don't have any manners and they think they can do what ever they want, well they cant. You have to let office people know or just call the cops ones or twice, as I did for noise and so they've stoped. It's nice and quiet no loud music or noisy neighbors. There are dirty people and there are a trash bags in front of someone's doors sometimes, but hey, if they want to be dirty and stinky that's their problem, not mine. They say if you want to know how is inside of someone house, all you have to do is look in front of their door, that tell's it all.As for office people, I can only say the best. They are all very nice and kind to me, none of them were ever rude or ugly . They are very helpful and their hands are always full, it is not easy on them to keep this property safe and clean. They're trying to bring in more normal and nice people to live here and they're getting rid of bad ones. I really respect all they have to do. Maintenance guys are really quick on fixing things.I will definitely renew my lease and I'm not planing on moving out any time soon. I work every day and I'm not worried at all that someone will break in my apartment, we have police that live on the property and some neighbors that work with office and they're watching. THANK YOU STONEHOUSE !!!!!!

I totally agree with what this person has said. I have lived here since they opened. I have never had a problem with the office, maintenance, nor the residence. The people who work here are very respectful and very helpful. They are nice even after you sign the lease, not two faced like many other properties. This is the best place I've seen here in San Antonio. My friends complain about where they live and what a pain their management is when it comes to maintenance and safety.
The rent is very reasonable for the amount of space on this side of town. Apartments around here cost more for less space and more problems. The management works hard to have programs that are beneficial and fun for the residences. Every month there are resident meetings for people to voice their concerns and opinions. I have always felt safe within my home and on the property. The location is great. There are things to do on the right and left of Vance Jackson. One bus to get to UTSA or the medical district.
And yes, people like to park as close to their homes as possible. I do not have a car so that is not an issue for me. My only wish is that they had a pool. It is the only reason I am moving from here.
