Stoneleigh Apartments

it DOES feel like home From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 12/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006   I just moved here in May after living at a nightmarish "new" complex on Judson/1604, talk about ghetto-ville.... of which Stoneleigh is NOT. Obviously it's an older complex, wear-n-tear is inevitable but i've yet to encounter this "ghetto" neighborhood others speak of. It's a nice, quiet and small complex. My neighbors are all very nice and courteous, there are minimal children living here and if there are some at least their parents are always with them and they're not running around unsupervised. There have been some maintenence issues, mircrowave blew out, but the staff fixed it the day i called. And they're always prompt with AC filter changes and comply with my request of CLOSING my bedroom door after they're done, so that my cat doesn't wander in there! The staff is really great, soooo much better than other apt complexes i've experienced. When my 7year old niece came over for the first time she said, "Oh Auntie, I love your apartment, it's soooo homey!!" what 7yr old notices that "feeling"' compared to my last apt that was brand new, she hated it. that should tell you something! and all my visitors have all said the same thing about it having that home quality to it. i will definitely live here until i get married and buy a home. AND, the price is great for this pricey area AND for the size of my apt!!!
