ATTENTION MILITARY SERVICE MEMBERS: DON'T GET RIPPED OFF!!! I AM IN THE MILITARY AS WELL, AND I WANT TO LOOK OUT FOR OTHER MILITARY MEMBERS!!! ASK OTHERS ABOUT STONEYBROOK BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE!!! I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO OTHERS THAT WARNED ME BEFORE I MOVED HERE!!!
Wow!!! Stoneybrook Management continues to amaze me!!!
I have sinced moved out of Stoneybrook, and they cheated me out of my security deposit!!! I was charged for a couple of nail holes in the wall and normal wear and tear. I have never ever been cheated out of a security deposit with any other apartment complex. On my scheduled move-out date, no one was available to walk the apartment with me. I left my cell phone number, for someone to call me and let me know the status of my security deposit. Nobody called, but even worse, I received a bill a few days later stating damages/repairs to be close to $500!!! Totally unreasonable!!! Outrageous!!! I visited the office and asked them to explain the charges, and told them that they were being unreasonable...However, they saw nothing wrong with what they were doing. They are cheaters.
Stoneybrook Apartments claimed they took a professional into the apartment and claimed that the carpet needs replacing. However, I took a professional over, and they said a steam clean would do the job. If you rent here you will be paying for new carpet when you leave...
There are many other apartment complexes with integrity and better customer service. Please pass on what you heard here. Don't let anyone else become a victim!!!
