All about Money From: dukenukem Date posted: 8/26/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   I lived there One year total. Having rented a few times before this is hands down the WORST experience Ive ever had. First youll be asked to sign a 9 PAGE lease! you can have cats but not kittens, youll be rejected for multi colored hair( i know they made a woman change her hair to a solid color and prove it while i was sitting in the office one day. ) and there tons of little gotchas in there that WILL get you later! They first quoted me a price for rent and the price went up in a one weeks wait. I was commited by than because I "thought" Id found a place and stopped looking so i was stuck. They left a nasty note ON THE INSIDE of my door for dying plant i put on my deck trying to give it fresh air and light to recover! YES thats right when they want to leave a nasty gram they go into your apartment when your not there! If you look at the rent they PRO RATE THE paint and carpet. So depending on the last time your apartment was painted before you moved in you will pay a percentage so it can repainted/replaced! So much for normal wear and tear. Its in the lease read it ! of course after 9 pages you might get discouraged i know i did. The staff is generally nasty and stuck up. The maintenace staff is acceptable though. OH yeah.. they will tell you the 9 pages and its "rules" are to keep the riff raff out. But the ONLY thing ive ever had stolen in my life was stolen from there! I lost my bikes out on the deck one night. When it floods out on timberbrook if you want to cross the 20 feet to ingram road you will have to fo all the way down grisom to bandera and then back over! fighting traffic the whole way. My advice.. walk away while you can, there are better places out there !
