I just moved in a few days ago so far my impression is..
1. Management could be a little more friendly.
2. Kitchen cabinets are outdated looking.
3. If you have a pet and the carpeting is under a year old it will cost you $875 to have that pet/Was not made aware of the new carpeting rule before hand.

Okay, did you see the apartment before leasing it? If the cabinets looked outdated before you leased it why did you take the apartment? To avoid the higher deposit you could have selected an apartment that did not have new carpet.
