I have lived in another AIMCO property and moved into the Stratford without realizing that it was managed by the same people that manage Timbermill. AIMCO does not care about the properties they manage. I have had problems since the first day I moved in, which I might add, they weren't even prepared for. They did not know I was moving in that day is what they said to me. I have had constant maintenance problems since I moved in to this crap hole. I know that the US is a melting pot which I have always thought is a good thing but here, everyone seems to be the stereotypical form of whatever ethnicity they are. I have had my car vandalized and nothing was done about that, my toilet overflowed, they ignore all requests until you ask enough times and once one of the workers, Trisha, even had the audacity to tell me to be patient after I had waited over a month to have my toilet fixed. Once they "fixed" it, it overflowed 2 days later. There are police cars here on a regular basis, the people from the apt across the street come use the pool, there is always dog feces and trash everywhere, etc. I also would caution those individuals with pets not to move here. They say there are pet friendly at all the AIMCO properties but they charge you 200 a pet which is non refundable even if your pets do nothing to the apt and then, if you happen to live next to people of a culture who don't like dogs, be prepared to be blamed an accused of problems you are causing because of your dogs. If you don't like pets, dont move into a pet friendly community. Also, the AC doesn't work properly and neither does the dryer which I have been saying for the past 3 months. When I asked to leave, they are telling me all penalties will fall on me when the reason I want to move is all their fault. If I could go back, I would do anything not to live here. It is hands down the worst apartment on the North side of San Antonio.

I totally agree with you on the pet issues, I have lived here at the stratford for over 2 years, my dogs have as well. Until the new manager Janet took over they were a very pet friendly community, she I believe is the one that is not pet friendly, writting violations on the tenants pets constantly, lying on the violations, making her false accusations. The Stratford was a very nice community until this unprofessional manager took over, she has totally made living at the stratford a pure nightmare, there are alot of moving tenants since she has come in. God forbid you allow your children, children whom are old enough even, to play outside, because she will call cps on you, she has done this on several tenants I have spoke with, and will threaten to you to do so if you allow your kids to play outside, where are the suppose to play janet? I can not believe Aimco empolys such an unprofessional manager as her, what's wrong with you aimco you are losing good business!
