I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. The office staff has been changed and they are worse than the original staff. The grounds are in very poor condition and the trash from across the street blows into the front lawns on the north side. Your not going to get any of your $200 pet deposit back. Or should I say your pet fee. The townhome I am in, was trash when I moved in. I wrote three pages front and back of things that needed to be fixed. They never were. The AC unit is not big enough to cool my townhome. So, the AC never shuts off and the temp never gets below 79 degrees. It has also gone out 8 times in past year. The stove used to only work on boil or simmer, no middle. The office told me they put new carpet in when we moved in. That was a lie, because my wife and I bought a steam vac and we are still pulling up buckets full of dirt. The foundation has moved since we moved in. There are several new cracks in the walls. The pantry door sticks and the master bedroom door now sticks. Bluffdale Dr. and Bluffcreek Dr. are the two streets connecting the north side of the complex to Medical Dr. and Fairview Dr. They are also drag strips for every muscle car and motorcycle in town. The swimming pools are cloudy, not clear. Aimco owns the property and they have a dangerous animal policy. Yeah, whatever! I saw the policy when I got my dog. My wife and I originally wanted a different breed, but the pet policy said otherwise. It is a generic standard and no research was done to see what breeds of dog are actually dangerous and which ones aren't. Doesn't really matter though. I have seen every breed of dog at the stratford including Pit Bulls, Rottweiler, and my favorite Dobermans running around. Just shows how lazy the office staff is. I can't think of too much else. The office won't help you, nothing will ever get fixed, the foundation is moving, the noise is constant, the pools are cloudy, and the rent is going up. Oh yeah, I have called 911 more times at the stratford, than I have my entire life. My lease is up June 30th and I will be moving far....far...away! This is truly the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life. I hate these people for making my first year in San Antonio hell.
