So I moved into The Stratford in 2004 and we had a serious ant problem *cough*1 3 1 0*cough* but luckily they were super awesome about us moving to a larger apartment since a few months later I got pregnant with my daughter(whos now 4..crazy). They were defiantly not the best because you had to submit multiple requests, emergency's like being locked out with a newborn they didn't seem to care and would "get to it".
Flag down a maintenance guys or if they hear its something important they come that second and drop what they are doing. The maintenance staff is amazing ADOLFO is the greatest ever and i want to take him with me wherever i go because hes good at what he does and hes just a gnarly person whos been here since i have.

Okay lets fast forward to more recent months when DUN DUN DUN The Lynd took over.(yes be scared a little bit) They make you call a 1-800 number to submit a request which i think is ridiculous and i couldn't understand the representative very well because she had a heavy accent and there was a delay like she was on the other side of the world or they are cheap and using skype,its a mystery if you find out let me know.
The property they are trying to make look better and they need to so they can cover up there shi* service and bad attitude. So my hubby goes in there to pay rent right' Well, Angel M has a resident in there like I have an emergency a leak and its on my TV (im sure its a big bad flat screen tv you know men. lol)She says "so move your tv" My question to the mystery man is... How much restrain did it take not to smack her'
Latest run in I had personally with ANGEL M was her not wanting to release our payment history to an apartment complex i did an application with until i give them notice that im leaving. Why would i do that' lets say it gets denied then i don't know where im living in a few months and i explained that to her and she said "its standard procedure" after arguing with her she finally said you have to give me written permission to release that information and i said there's a difference between notice im leaving and permission to release that information so she finally spit out the truth and said you we can just give her permission to release it without giving notice of leaving. Oh and she even had the nerve to say "Why are you so concerned that you wont be approved'" I replied" not that its any of your business but I know more than likely it will be fine because i have good credit and payment history but I have a four year old i don't assume things will go though like i want them to its just idiotic. You said I need to give you 30 days notice and I will but not today because i have time she said okay and told me multiple times on different occasions it was 30 days but turns out its 60 days on the lease and we are paying double rent now. Yes yes i agree im a dumba$$ for not checking the lease and believing her but at the same time I wish they would give us the right information because the day i even thought of moving 45 days before lease not 60 and the day she sent the information was about 40 days not 60 days.

I have mixed feelings. Ben is nice. Angel isn't that bad. Sometimes I do feel like I'm not wanted in there, but I have bigger problems to deal with then my egotistical feelings. Maintenance tries, but you really have to hound them. I don't like the whole 800 #/internet thing, but I can deal with it. I hate when Maintenance says a job is fixed when they don't even come out. Overall I like the location, and the staff. Having passed by The Stratford for years I saw how Aimco was letting it go downhill. Lynd has a lot of work cut out for them. I just think the staff has the ability to be so much better if they tried. Sometimes it looks like they bit off more than they can chew with this place.

Sounds like the office is reading the reviews and they aren't too happy. This is a place for people to say what they want about their apartments. So let them, maybe they wouldn't have anything negative to say if you didn't give them a reason. I personally would not rent again from the Stratford because of many reasons, most of them listed on the many reviews already given to this place.
