I have so many complaints with how The Stratford Apts. are ran. Most of the Management is rude and un professional. You walk into the office for something and its walking the halls in highschool bout how drunk they were the previous weekend. This doesnt included everyone i have found Ben and i believe its Megan very helpful, but everyone gives you the run around. They have threatened to evict me over $10 dollars which is going to cost me a dollar to get, its not much but thats 10% of what i owe them. Multiply times they have had this young lady, very mean and bully-ish, complain we were short on rent when they just over looked our check. I've seen one of them go into a neighbors apartment after hours. No big deal but when this neighbor is an obvious dealer of sorts, they have people walking in and out all day everyday and night.
Maintenance guys here are great they try very hard to work with the quality of these apartments but this brings my next issue of even getting maintenance to come fix things. Its not there fault its the fact i need to call some hotline that is sent out to some foreign country where someone with some deep accents arent truely named Joe or Robert. I have wait over a month for a door to my bedroom to get fixed and as i write this my kitchen sink is in pieces, been overflowing for the past week and causing just a mess in my place.
I've gotten emails from the Lynd Company showing an actual request put in but that only happens maybe once out of every 6 times i call. When i go to the office they just tell me to be patient. I've tried very hard but when dirty sewage water keeps gushing, and i mean gushing 6 inches out of the pipe, i get upset. I cant clean my dishes very well and the smell/water has cause fruit flies to start swarming.
To top this all off i went to jump into my shower one morning and see a huge cockroach come flying out of my tub faucet. Then another in my toilet. Different ones. Now id understand if the roaches were in my closets or cupboards it would be my fault but when they are in my plumbing i have no control over that. Roaches are in my drinking/cleaning water i dont like this.
Im very upset that they can make sure they squeeze every penny from you but dont have to be responsible for taking care of what could have been simple things.

Constant people coming to and from the neighbors place
Apparently Management loves to hang out with this same neighbor.
Besides this the Stratford isnt horrible. Its fairly clean with recent renovations like paint and new log walls etc. but the apartments themselves need to be stripped and redone. The sad this is they will make you pay for it.
when we moved from a 3bdrm to a 2 bdrm they charged us for pretty much anything they could then went ahead and remolded it all. Not a statisfied person

I also live at the stratford and know what your talking about it took someone calling code compliance to get them to clean the pool and tow two junked cars.And on top of that they had to close the pool for a week or more to get it clean enough to open thats how dirty and green it was.They sent me a lease renewal paper and I thought that was a joke. Iam outta here as soon as my lease is up.

Well, maybe if AIMCO had done their job right the place wouldn't look like the bottom of a sewage drain. When I first moved in I was all against the place and thought maintenance and the staff were horrible. But I got to talk to maintenance and learned just how much crap from Aimco they had to repair. I've gone in the office quite a lot and have NEVER heard any of the staff commenting on their drunken weekends. Everyone seems fairly nice in there. I find it hard to believe that maintenance wouldn't come out right away to fix standing "sewage" water. They came the next day when I said I had a leak in my ceiling and fixed it immediately. Yes, some repairs take time. This is a big complex and they have a lot to do. So, why not just chill a little and quit thinking of yourself all the time.
