My experience here to sum it up in one word. Sucks. The people in charge of this place need a soul, cause they obviously don't care about the residents here. Ya, lately I can congratulate whoever made the decision to finally redo the grass and trim the hedges around here. Great job! However, this doesn't affect my apartment, its the aesthetics and appeal to new potential renters their trying to impress. Not fix the many existing problems already here on the place that really matters, the inside. This rickety 30 something year old place has had renovations, but obviously their not trying to lighten the burden of the existing residents many underlying internal problems, but merely attract more new residents so that they may make more money. Please and I cannot say enough of this please do yourself a favor and find another place to live because these people (not maintenance) need a paycut and a swift kick in the rear. The people who do try to make this place a better place to live deserve to work for a company alot better than this one. I cannot say anything but good things about maintenance department of this place, they do what they can with the crap that they have to put up with with their superiors. As much as I'd love to say who I am and where I'm at I can't cause I know some soulless person up front will do everything in their power to make our already not so fairytale lives more miserable.

Why do you say they do not care? I can see that the company and the management of this place have only inproved the property since they took over this year and sorry you cant open your eyes and see that so move if you dont like it here

typical simpleton response here, "if ya don't like it move out." My eyes are wide open and would like to spare the next potential stratford resident the pain of residing here. Well you see Mr. Caveman I'm binded into this leasing contract, which would entail me to suffer through this decrepit overpriced apartment until my contract ends. Early termination would result as a red flag on my credit history and a large early termination fee... Anyone with common sense and a lock on their wallet would understand that. Now as far as "Inproving" the property, you might notice that the outside of the apartment is changing, and the inside isn't... I should probably move to Houston where things actually change, and not perpetuate in the same old fashioned, stubborn state of mind that I commonly find as I get closer and closer to the border. Hopefully my review of this place incites a change amongst some of the staff here which will ultimately cause the next poor sap to move here to give a more positive honest response of their experience here.
