Horrible Office staff

The apt itself is a nice unit but the office staff is horrible. An***a didn't tell me we had to have cable tv to stay there, and that we couldn't have chairs out on the patio. They also took 9 days to approve the application to move in which I found out later state law says that automatic denial. I also was late on paying the cable/utilities they charge and the bottom of the bill states a late fee of 5% would be added to the bill and the office added $95 to the charges. I asked to see where they got that amount from and I was asked to leave. I also have had them take 6-10 days to get maintenence requests done and they have this I don't care attitude. I have even filed a complaint with the BBB (complaint # on file) about them and that was the only time things got done. Their sprnklers most of them leak water and I even called corporate b/c I reported one that had been leaking for months and wasn't fixed till the 8th day after I submitted a request to their internet website. Their call center is a joke, half the people there haven't mastered the English language. Find another Apartment to live in, it's not worth the price per month.

Dude you are such the looser. Place patio furniture out on your patio not inside home furniture! Just pay your rent on time, quit harassing the office staff, and master the English language yourself (i.e., "b/c"....) mind your own business and quit being a p****!!

Before you go around bashing the property, and/or the staff, maybe you should look in the mirror and realise that there are going to be problems everywhere you go. Now lets see how many apartments are on your complex? If its just yours then i would understand an immediate response to your service requests. And when are call centers inside the united states, for a while now all the companies have employed people outside the states to help lower costs... however, im sure that since one of your points are cable, you dont want news and wouldnt know about that. I havent had any issues with the office staff, and i have lived here for a good eight months. They are friendly and if you have an issue they WILL do everything in there power to help. The location is great and im sure if i was in the office complaining on people and reporting them to the "BBB", that there would be a little hostility. If you are that unhappy, go to the south side where you belong and you would probably fit in just fine and stop harrassing our office staff. As a resident of Stratford Apartments, they have done nothing but improve the property, and the building lifts they did a while back to restore the correct level of the buildings. I really hope you find a complex as miserable as you are, good luck finding anything close to what you have for the price. Move on and stop complaining or one day you will find an office that wont deal with you.

i have had no problems with anyone of the staff members until today. The staff member lied and had said that maintenance just had left my apt. and i told him that i had been there since 2 and no one had knocked on the door or tried to enter and i made sure that i didnt have anything loud so that i can hear. i asked the staff member to call and ask when they went by and the maintenace person said he had gone early morning. I didnt appreciate the lying from him and the smart remarks.

Wait, Deborah is the only maintenance staff that does anything and does it right? What in hell are you talking about. Every time I arrive home I see Deborah walking around. Honestly speaking, it's the other two guys that are always busting their a** to get stuff taken care of. The service requests I place that are simple to fix, get taken care of right away by one of the two guys if anything, they both work together to take care of the issue quickly. Every time I place a work order and it takes longer than expected I ask one of the maintenance guys why it's taking long to fix the problem and they respond that they have sent the materials replacement list to Deborah and it is Deborah that is in charge of ordering the replacement materials. If it's anyone that needs to wake up and smell the damn coffee, it's Deborah's lazy a**. Every time I need to speak to Office Staff, I always see Deborah's lazy a** sitting at the computer and talking on the phone.

@ anonymous dated 10/14/2010: HI HEAD MAINTENANCE GUY WHO HATES THE FACT THAT A FEMALE IS IN A SUPPOSED MAN'S FIELD! Deborah was the ONLY one who came out and ACTUALLY fixed things when we had a work order. Everyone else on maintenance staff would just mark it as completed and NEVER show up. I have the printed proof. Would you like me to show it to you? Besides, isn't it the maintenance SUPERVISOR's job to buy the supplies? I've also NEVER seen Deborah anywhere near the computer or talking on the phone. And she isn't outside just walking around. She's outside picking up lazy people's dog poop, beer cans, and dead animals that have been run over so many times they've become a smelly grease stain.
