i felt like i was at a used car lot

My girlfriend went to check out the sunray apartments and first dealt with steve who is a waaay stand up guy he showed us an unit told her they could waive the application fee we agreed to comeback in a few days. When we returned a few days later we met an overweight annoying fake girl in her mid twenties who made us feel very uncomfortable like we were buying a used car she said they could'nt waive the application and the special mentioned was not available...Steve had not mentioned a "look and lease" situation and seemed very uncomfotable like she was stepping on his toes but was being profesional....We walked away and later that day they calle dus ofering the original deal after the applying 3 days later they said she needed an extra deposit because of her credit again very salesy.....She took her deposit and 24 hours later found a nicer cheaper cozier more profesional establishment at the blue swan apartments up the road...There were nothing wrong w sunray apts just that annoying hustler of a leasing agent that works up front if you go there deal with steve and hopefully she wont be around

As a manager I appreciate hearing feedback about your experience at Sunray. I am sorry you felt you had an ingenuine experience with someone from our staff as we pride ourselves in customer service and would never want to come across "saleslike". I will certainly let Steve know you had a positive experience with him but I would also love to hear back from you to get more details of the experience you mentioned so we can see how we may improve going forward and to clear up any misconceptions or miscommunication there may have been. We have qualifying criteria we must follow which, in the end, is probably why we requested an additional deposit from you. I'm sorry things didn't work out for you with us but I hope you have a great experience in your new home.

I think they must have misunderstood what had been said. I have to say the Managment at Sunray has has stood by their word with me. They can not be held responsible for questionable credit. Ike
