BASICS: 2nd floor very high utility bills due to black roofs and no insulation($200 for 1-bed,$300 for 2-bed not unheard of). AC retrofit done badly with air duct board hole to 1-bed the size of a deck of cards and no vent in kitchen. Downstairs many people wear earplugs to sleep due to heavy walkers upstairs.
GOOD: Nice neighborhood/management/trees, cool residents/cookouts/parties ,curbside recycling.
BAD: Some car theft from unstable, harmless guy walking around. Kitchen retrofit sealing done badly, if your neighbor's having liver & onions, you're have the same.
UGLY: Maintenance! They can't stop a leaking toilet or unstop a bathtub. No preventative maintenance or fixes on known problems everyone has.

Ok so i live in an upstairs two bedroom, and my electric bill is not even close to your numbers posted, my bill was $61.00 last month, and the highest it got this summer was $90-95, and i keep my thermostat low. Infact my electric bill has gone down since the new roofs have been put in. Now as far as the harmless guy going around getting into peoples cars, maybe if someone would keep their car locked people would not get into it. Duh. And the maintenance has always been really good fixing my problems, the few ive had i might note. |
