i have lived here for 2 years and i cant wait to get out! thank God that my lease is over in May! anyway, just to sum things up a bit, i have lived in two areas in the complex. my first apartment there was in the back of the complex and it was very dark. when it rained, our porch would flood and our entryway would be covered in mud. it never got cleaned. it would just eventually dry. summers in san antonio are sweltering and my AC froze at least 9 times during the season. i called to have the issue fixed, it woud take days, unless i kept hounding. Still, my Ac kept freezing and each time they would "fix" it, days later it would freeze again. it would even freeze on weekends and according to the staff and the answering service, maintenance WONT and does not do AC related "emergancys" during a non-business day. so suffering in a hot apartment without an AC for the weekend during JULY in south Texas is........well you know the rest..anyway, finally after threatening to take this to the Better Business Beauro, my entire AC was replaced! BUT AT THE END OF THE SUMMER! who needs an AC in the winter!' anyway, landscaping is terrible! no grass unless you live by the office. staff is okay on a good day. i dont even like to go in there b/c i know as soon as i leave i am talked about. IVE HEARD IT HAPPEN WITH OTHER RESIDENTS! office hours are normanl. just note that they close promptly 10-15 minutes before scheduled time. anyway, the price is good and the area is fabulous! im leaving and i wont return! the look nice from afar, but when your up close and personal, its a little scary!!! walls are paper thin! during spring/almost summer time, inside the apartment youll find little dead worms. when you call the office to complaine about it, just know that they will tell you its just worm season and dont expect it to be fumigated. SO DURING DEER SEASON I CAN EXPECT BAMBI TO RUN THROUGH MY LIVING ROOM'''''!!!!! anyway, if you want to live in a place where you can always have access to the amenities, dont move here! my friends and i love to play b-ball at night after work to unwind....well the lights out there on the court dont work. when i called to see if this can be fixed, since i pay for thoes amenity's, i said it would be nice if i didnt have to park my car out there and shine the lights,....... i was told that its to expensive to fix and nothing would be done. NO APOLOGY OR ANYTHING!! dont bother to bring an alrm clock either. you can always count on the good ol'leaf blower to wake you up at 7am every SUNDAY MORNING!!!!! anyway, we will not be renewing our lease and we are moving to a much much better place!!! AND I CANT WAIT! if you are thinking about moving here b/c you like the location, try Wall Street Apartments, or Fifth Avenue. they at least have grass!!!!!!!!
