When I moved in in February of 2006, I was told that there was a security patrol on-site. This turned out to be a complete fabrication. The crime at this complex is not condusive to family life. There is rampant auto theft, vandalism, burglary, violence, and drug use at this facility. Do not let it's proximity to the elementary school fool you into believing it is a good place for kids. Gangs, guns, and drugs are common here. Graffiti is also a very common site. When I left the property, we cleaned it out completely. They said the oven wasnt clean (we had cleaned it and even bought new burner trays for it) $25.00 and then they claimed that we left personal property in the apartment that caused them to have to remove it. I went through that apartment 4 times before I turned in the keys. There was NOTHING in that apartment. Another $25.00. And what of my "cleaning deposit" that I put down when I moved in' Even though I have a receipt for it for $180 they claim they never received a deposit. I moved out on July 31 and count myself lucky to be rid of this crew for only $230 (my 180.00 deposit and the two $25.00 BS charges on my account). These yo-yo's aren't worth the hassle to try and get it back. But I want to let you know that you should not move here. Save yourself the headache.
