Mind numbing experience

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
Here is a time line of events for my stay so far at Talavera #315...
1. Move in Jan 2003 - Apartment had not been cleaned prior to move in. We had to clean all cabinets and drawers before we could unpack. The patio was covered in green algae and all of the blinds were bent up. Carpet had to be cleaned a second time on the first day of move in becuase there was an inch of dog hair around the base boards. As soon as I walked in the apartment that morning all I caould smell was wet dog. Third carpet cleaning still has not killed the dog stinch.
2. About three weeks into our lease we discovered a mouse problem. We were watching TV and we heard this scratching noise. There was a large hole behind the stove where they were getting in. Nasty!
3. We are still complaining about the dog urine smell that will not go away. The manager claims she can not smell so we still have not gotten new carpet. When the weather hits about 80 degrees you can really smell the dog pee. What really sucks is the manager went into my apartment today (the temp outside is 59 degrees and trys to smell the ordor) and says she can not smell anything. Of course she can't because it is cold outside. I'm so sick of her!
4. It took 3 phone calls for the office to put us in the directory. The office personnel is terrible.
They have only done the right thing once so far...Since we had so many problems we asked for a refund our our money that we had to pay to move in. They actually gave it back to us.
All in all this has been horrible and it will continue until my lease is up in Jan of 2004. Please pray for me!
