I should have known when I was submitting my
application to move in and could not get a return phone call that this was not the place to move to, but I was transferring from a different city and this place seemed like it was nice. Boy was I ever wrong. When I arrived with my Uhaul to move in, I opened the door to my new apartment that smelled so awful I could not bare to breath the air. It literally smelled like 20 chain smokers lived there for years and barbequed inside the apartment. I opened the patio door hoping that it would air out, but that did not work. I was polluting the fresh air outside w/the stinch of the apartment. You could actually stand outside at least 60ft from the patio and still smell the smoke escaping from the apartment. I was horrified. I immediately went to the office and explained what the problem was. They said they would have someone take care of it. I was not fully transferred to San Antonio yet and spent the next week in Austin working. During that week I called the office multiple times trying to check on the smelly situation. I left many msgs and my call was not returned until I finally got very angry and left a very rude msg. The smell never went away and the apartment was not accomodating at all. They never even once offered another apt. The only thing that I am grateful for is their 30 day move-out guarantee, because I was able to move out of that discusting place to a wonderful complex that I love. Let this and all the other complaints be warnings to you all...
