Nice looking, too expensive, poor maintenance

These apartments are nice to look at, although some of the wrought iron fencing needs painting. However, they are too expensive for what you get. Floorplans at Talavera (am not sure about the Legends) are okay...nothing spectacular but you pay a spectacular price. Management appears to be okay now (when we first moved in they were downright hateful) but maintenance is awful. Our "security gates" have been broken for months so anybody can drive right in. They're suppose to be fixed 11/1, but we'll see. Individual apartment maintenance is the pits. It takes forever to get anything fixed and they never seem to get it right the first time. We waited almost a month to have a gaping hole repaired in our patio roof from a leak. And we're on the ground floor, so it must be a major leak. And we also had a huge 4'x 4' hole in the breezeway. They let sheetrock hang down from that for weeks and had it fallen somebody could have been injured. So you pay an exhorbriant rent for an okay looking property with just so/so maintenance. You make the call.
