I concur with both previous reviews. Terrace claims on rent.com that they have limited access gates with a security guard. the gates never work, they stay open. if they are ever shut, you have to buzz the front office to let you in. second, the office staff is incredibly rude. third, maintenence requests never get taken care of. my stove has been missing a burner since the day i moved in 6 MONTHS AGO. there are rats. and bugs. the walls and doors are rotting. they have turned off the sprinklers so the very little grass that was actually growing in my "yard" is now dead. all the maintenance guys do to take care of this is... nothing, they drive around in their little golf cart around the complex all day. this place is ridiculous. dont waste your time or your money!! lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji

I moved back to Terrace 3 years ago. I had lived here before and loved it. The office staff was thoughtful and always took care of maintenance requests in a timely manner. BUT since I have been back and the Lynd Co. took over it's been awful. I too have "something" living in the walls or ceiling. I hear it running around, especially in the early morning. It took them a year to fix the heat in our apartment, even after numerous requests and 1 attempted "fix". The grounds, which are really pretty because of all the trees are always littered with trash now. The tennis court is used for a soccer field by grown men and the playground, well I wouldn't let my kids play there. We did at one time have a guard at the front which made me feel very safe, they took that away and put up a gate which never worked. They took that down and now nothing. Alot of the "security" lights are either burned out or broken, which is scary because it is very dark in the back of the property. The really sad thing about this is that this property could be very nice. It is set up well and the grounds are very pretty, but I have not seen anything done to enhance the property since the new owners have taken over. You can look at their web site and see all the vacancies, that should tell people something. The one reason I stayed is because I have small children and I don't like the idea of moving them around alot, but I will be moving on as soon as my lease is up.
