I was trying to figure out where I should lease my next apartment community, so I decided to check out the ratings on some of my favorites. The one thing that i noticed is that people are always logging on to make a complaint but nobody gets on to say anything good. So I wanted to represent for my current community the estates at lookout canyon. this place is awesome, if i didn't switch jobs i would still live here. I had a 12month lease and had no problems so i don't know where all these comments are coming from... i guess if you look for offense you will get offended. the place is great the people are great and the staff is great

If you took away all the selfish lazy inconsiderate pigs, then they would lose half their tenants. Now I didnt say all. Just half. And this place seriously needs speed bumps. Its not a drag strip. If your living the good life here, I think thats great. But it simply never happened that way for me. I caught someone trying to steal my motorcycle, someone tried to pick my front door lock, and my neighbor sounds like hes training for the hammer toss in the olympics. I had called the office 16 times to complain (Im smart enough to write down the day, time, and person Im speaking with) and nothing happened. I finally sent a certified letter to corporate and very quickly things changed for about 2 weeks. But its once again back to the same old. And now my neighbor gives me dirty looks. GREAT!!!! Plus I found out that he's rather good friends with one of the girls in the office. Anyhow, when you're lied to by the property manager when signing your lease (not Claudia, Susan-no longer works here obviously) it tends irate you. You're signing a legal and binding contract and have no idea whats going to happen in the future. You can only hope that everything goes well. It didnt. So many things were delayed it wasnt funny. And if you didnt move in here within the first six months that they were leasing apts, then you have no idea what Im talking about. But im getting tired of typing and ranting and being all emo.

No you do not have to "look for offense to get offended". That doesn't even make sense, really. We all live in different buildings with different kinds of people and it makes for different experiences. If you live on the left side of the complex or the front of the right side, then you might be okay.....but back here on the right, its a nightmare. Or if you live upstairs and not downstairs, or downstairs with no one living above you. It all comes with conditions. I've heard about vandalism and theft happening overnight and I see disturbances quite a lot with the sheriff having to stop in, I hear loud music across the road pretty often, I see huge steaming dog poop everywhere that people are too lazy to pick up and it leaves a stenchy aroma by my front door, people leave their trash around and the compactor is working, and I have never seen so many kids playing in the street unsupervised and people drive like they are on 281..there aren't any speedbumps. There are just a bunch of inconsiderate lawless people living here and it's surprising given the atmosphere and "luxury" labeling. It's like that kind of "I don't care" personality is attracted to these places. I know they can't monitor everyone 24/7 but I dont even feel safe here anymore. If you take away all the selfish lazy inconsiderate pigs, then this place would be decent.
