So like many my husband and I thought that this complex was very nice. However, we had an unforeseen situation arise and were unable to move in. We put down a deposit that we were told is 100% refundable. But of course the management did not tell us the circumstances of which that deposit would be refunded. They would not even listen to our situation and try to work with us. We are two full time students in the military. We do not have the extra cash just to throw away to these people. Anyway, I wrote the check and my husband signed the paper that said it was non refundable. I was never told about it not being refundable and I never signed anything agreeing to it. Funny how everything else we signed had to be signed by both of us. I also know two other people that have been residents and were never refunded there deposits. This apartment is nice from the outside but I HIGHLY discourage anyone from living here!

I am a new resident at to The Lodge. As for the post above; did you even read the deposit receipt you signed. As I recall it clearly states that you will not be refunded your deposit if you choose not to accept the apartment. Maybe you should check your copy as they do give you one upon collecting the fee. I'm glad you didn't get your deposit back. People who don't read leagal documents before signing them are incompetant. P.S. Don't take this persons post seriously as it is full of grammatical errors and misspelled words. The first sentence is especially ignorant as the use of the word "like" is used incorrectly making her sound as if she is a seventh grade "valley girl". Take this and learn from it as currently you truely are stupid!

To Valeska86, People who can't spell incompetent are incompetent! And when you described why others shouldn't take the poster's comments seriously when they spell incorrectly, you failed to spell "truly" correctly. You are truly stupid!

To Valeska86, You failed to realize that the original poster's first sentence should have read : "So, Like many, my husband...". Like was not being used in the context of a sentence filler but rather as a comparison from other individuals that have posted and made the mistake of moving here. Unfortunately, your reponse, that in itself filled with grammatical errors, will cause many readers to belief that you are incredibly stupid and illiterate.
