I currently live at the lodge and absolutely hate it! My one bed one bath apt costs around 900 a month.They charge a pet deposit (which is 800 big ones if you have new carpet), a pet fee, and an extra percentage of your monthly rent on top of that until the day you leave! They might as well set a tollbooth up at the gate to allow you through. On the other hand the gate is rarely in working condition, and when its not off the tracks the clicker barely works. Once you get through the gate plan on driving around for eight years looking for a parking spot.The one dumpster to accommodate all residents is conveniently located in the far corner of the apartment grounds, I suppose this is to uphold the astethic value of complex, which doesn't make sense because its always overflowing with trash. The staff, is not desired, either. With the exception of one (who is the sweetest girl I've met in a long time) the staff is rude, condescending, and pretentious, as well as everyone else that works in that particular company. Upon moving in, I wasn't shown the mailbox,or dumpster, wasn't given the codes to the pool area, and when asked about it, made no effort to physically show me. Times are tough in this economy and many people are losing their jobs. They will file eviction notice within ten days if they haven't received a rent payment. There's no making a deal with these people. All they care about is money, and for what' A broken gate and a "state-of-the-art" excerise facility, which has glass windows surrounding it so everyone on the outside can enjoy your routine.
Maintenance, however, is usually punctual when a problem has been submitted. Whether they fix it completely or not is hit or miss...
All in all, my experience at the lodge has been anything but pleasant. Coming from someone who has incredibly low standards, I would strongly advise all potential renters to avoid this property. Nothing good will come of it.You won't even have your deposit to look forward to.

First of all...if you have a pet and dont want to pay the CONTRACTED amount to have one, dont sign the lease. You should know better as an adult. I currently live there and while it is not perfect, some noise, gates break etc... you live in a freaken apt complex. What the heck do you expect? FIND THE TRASH AND MAILBOX YOURSELF. Or is that too much of an adult thing to do? I wouldnt rate this place perfect but come on!! You chose to live here and all things your complaining about are expected or on the lease.
