I was one of the first to move in to this complex, and like most was in awe of its 'newness'. It most certainly is a fantastic community in comparison to most, and holds its weight well amongst the self imposed 'luxury' claim. However, there are a few items that are left to be desired.

Unlike competing properties, the Montecristo does not offer luxuries such as:

Valet Dry Cleaning
Sauna/Spa/Whirlpool
Attached garages for most floor plans
Covered parking for all buildings

**The biggest complaint amongst community residents is that each resident is required to take his/her trash to the dumpster, quite inconveniently located for most.

So as not to draw a completely unpleasant picture of this property, I will say that its exterior construction is quite impressive. As far as the interior, the most impressive would be the kitchen. The black appliances and faux wood flooring are quite a compliment to the well designed custom cabinetry. Although the fluorescent light is not exactly up to par.

There is some noise from floor to floor, but that is to be expected while living in apartment communities. The neighbors, for the most part, are quite courteous however.

The location is absolutely the best feature of this property. Quietly hidden behind the Twin Oaks office complex, the traffic is nil, and quite honestly, you may not know this community existed if not for living here. Access to both 281 and 1604 is by far superior to any property found amongst San Antonio.

All in all, the community is most certainly among the top ten within San Antonio. For the price however, I would certainly shop the competing properties to make sure this one is for you.
