Very sad!

My microwave was broken and would continue to run shooting out microwaves even with the door open. When it was finally replaced 2 work orders later, it was replaced with a microwave that was half the size of the old one AND it left a huge, unappealing gap between the cabinets (the other microwave was a built in).
My water heater went out on me on a Thursday which was promptly reported. The same day maintenance came by to check on it. They confirmed it was broken and said a new one would be ordered. The following Tuesday I hadn't heard anything and called the front office. I found out a new water heater was yet to be ordered and they finally did it that day. I was told it would be in on Thursday, that they were undermanned, but would try to get it replaced that day... if not then deeeefinately Thursday (so said the Manager). Friday came and no word. I called them AGAIN. They sent someone to check on the water heater AGAIN, as if it would miraculously fix itself. Sure enough it was still broken. He tweaked it to give me a lil' more hot water through the weekend and told me he'd fix it on Monday. I got home from work Monday and guess what... NO FRIGGIN' HOT WATER. So I walked down the front office AGAIN and talked to the mgr who thought it had been fixed the Friday before. She told me it would be fixed the following day or heads would roll. I got home from work Tuesday to find mud on my carpet, oddly enough my counertops, the linoleum in the kitchen, AND my flower pot was broken... but my water heater was finally fixed. I called the mgr to let her know and to tell her about the flower pot, expecting sympathy. They refused to reimburse me for the flower pot and said she'd have to call her regional mgr to see if she could replace it. DID I MENTION I WAS HOUSING HURRICANE IKE EVACUEES AND MY MOM WAS IN TOWN FOR THE WEEK!'!'!'! ...all of which I told the front office.
It also appears maintenance only fixes what they feeeeel liek fixing on the mx orders. I've put multiple things that need to be fixed on a work order and only some of it is taken care of.
On the other hand there are a few pleasant folks in the front office and the apts offer a large amount of sq footage for the price (which is was sucked me in). NOT WORTH LIVING HERE!!!!
The other tenants are scary to say the least... and filthy. There's trash all over the property, my truck was broken into after only living there 3 or 4 mths... people are allowed to hang sheets in the windows for curtains... Can you say GHETTO!'!'! gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7
