I figured this would be one of the best ways to let everyone be aware of what I consider a scandel at this community. I am not even a resident and was lied to about the deposit I paid and only getting 1/4 of it back because I chose another community. First I was told the deposit was $100.00 then recently I was told it was $25.00. Which is it'' This information should have been extremely clear the day I completed the rental application. The only thing I expected was my deposit that I paid and not the application fee. I feel this is just another way of making money off of people who don't even live there and I consider that very unethical. I feel the knowledge needed to appropriately lease apartments in this community is lacking in many areas. I will be reporting this property to the proper authorities. The leasing agent and staff has the responsiblity to uphold the reputation of this community but they have failed.

Maybe if you would read the application you signed you would know that the any apartment in the state of Texas that is a member of the Texas Apartment Association has the right to keep the deposit you placed on the apartment for liquidated damages if you cancel the application, which you stated that you did. You are lucky you got anything back because BY LAW they did not have to return any money to you. Read legal documents before you sign them!!!!
