I moved in here with my boyfriend in April of '09. It looked ok but I was wrong. Within the first couple of months of being here, like 4 people were shot and killed. All of the shootings were drug related and didn't even happen in the same area, but all over the complex! I became afraid to be alone outside after dark. The management did get some officers to patrol the place after hours, but that only stopped the violence- cars kept getting broken into. To top it off, you never know when you are going to have a hot shower. They turn off the water for hours unexpectedly and more than most days hot just doesn't happen. We have formally complained, but the problem has never been addressed- I have learned to settle for kinda sorta lukewarm showers. Oh- and how could I not mention the fact that my boyfriend didn't have a/c until June'' Him and his roommate have been there since September. The only good person at this place is the maintenance guy- but he can't do anything until they tell him to so you can figure out that one. I can't stand this place. The floor is dramatically unlevel, the refrigerator has a shelf missing, and we have no blinds in numerous rooms- to mention a few last things.
